FAQ

Do you have any spaces available?
Yes, we have a few limited spaces available in certain age groups. We are in the process of calling families on our waitlist to fill these spaces. If you need childcare, please call for more information.
Do you offer Part time care?
We offer part time spaces at two days per week on Thursday and Friday, or three days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
How do I get on your waitlist?
You can get your family on the waitlist by calling our center, sending us an email, or filling out the enrollment form found on the “Getting Started” tab here on our website. There is no fee to be on our waitlist.
Who gets priority?
We give priority to families on our waitlist with children with special needs. We also give priority to families who already have siblings attending our program.
May I come and visit the program?
We welcome families to come and see our program in action before enrolling. We schedule tours by appointment only. This can be scheduled when you submit your family’s information for the waitlist. If you are not on our waitlist and would like a tour, please call to inquire about our enrollment process.
How long is your waitlist?
The lengths of our waitlist vary according to the room. We usually have predictable spaces available in September when children graduate to kindergarten or move up into the next classroom. The waitlist for our Infant classroom is the longest and it is a good idea to plan for infant care as soon as you know you are expecting a child. Please call to find out more about the waitlist for the specific classroom you are interested in.
How will I know if space becomes available?
We will contact you as soon as a space that suits your needs becomes available, generally one month in advance. At times we have unexpected space become available. In this case we may call and offer a space that is available as soon as the enrollment process can be completed.
What are your rates?
Tuition rates vary by age and classroom; We additionally charge a $50 registration fee upon enrollment, and an annual $50 registration fee.
Do you accept subsidies for low-income families?
Yes. We accept a limited number of DSHS, CCR, and City of Seattle Comprehensive Childcare Program subsidies. Northwest Center also provides scholarships to families of children with special needs who do not qualify for the above subsidies, but need assistance.
